Description:TOO DONE manifests the shattered dreams, invisible chains, and heartbreaking abuse that can destroy us, but also the triggers that—unexpectedly—can set us free.
At the center of this short film is MINA, a working-class Latinx whose dreams have quietly died in San Francisco’s darker corners. The best she can hope for is invisibility, but what she gets is abuse and disrespect at home, at work, on the streets. Beneath her silence simmers a rage she’s never dared to unleash—until now.
MINA’s story is a plea to break away from one’s abusers before justifiable pain turns into destructive action.
